Where in the World are the Wheelers?

Momservation: Fun tired: When you’re exhausted from self-organized, high-energy activities with the kids. You’re not allowed to complain about being “fun tired” in front of mothers of toddlers or newborns – it’s just as annoying as complaining about being tired from a Maui vacation.

I’m going to call this “Postcards From the Edge” because even though what follows is photographic proof of a fun (yet exhausting) summer so far, it remains to be seen if I will actually make it to the beginning of school.

WEEK 1 (June 18, 2010)

Four days into the summer and we are off camping with friends at Union Valley Reservoir. Here's our group at Bassi Falls. No bear sighting this year, but less than 2 weeks later a man was attacked at the next campground over from ours!

WEEK 2 (June 26, 2010)

Daughter. Whitney, and her cousins having some fun tubing on Lake McClure. Stayed on my cousin's houseboat, "Summer Madness," which seems like it should be my theme song instead.

WEEK 3 (July 3, 2010)

Getting ready to watch fireworks at Hubby's annual birthday/4th of July party extravaganza. During intermission we had 50+ kids doing sparklers in a mob. The only thing scarier was the pool and hot tub after the party of 100+.

RANDOM FUN IN 1ST 3 WEEKS

My son, Logan, sliding into home during his All-Star baseball game.
Anyone want to go in the hot tub after this group?
What would 4th of July be without a pie eating contest?
