\"flick-or-treat-2015b\"<\/a>Baseball may have left the building but that doesn\u2019t mean fun things aren\u2019t still happening at Raley Field.<\/a> And if you have kids you\u2019re looking to entertain (I still burn incense at the altar of McDonald\u2019s Playlands), the Sacramento River Cats<\/a> have created a new offseason event: Dinger’s Drive In sponsored by California Family Fitness.<\/a><\/h4>\n

Dinger\u2019s Drive In<\/a>, an outdoor movie series that invites families to kick back in the Raley Field <\/a>outfield while watching movies on their Jumbotron, kicked of last month with Disney\u2019s Zootopia.<\/h4>\n

This weekend, Saturday, October 15<\/strong>, the Raley Field crew is getting into the Halloween spirit early with their 3rd<\/sup> annual Flick-Or-Treat<\/a>, a community trick-or-treat event. In addition to showing a second film, Hotel Transylvania 2<\/strong> as part of Dinger\u2019s Drive In<\/a>, kids will be able to safely trick-or-treat and participate in Halloween themed games and events.\"flick-or-treat-2015\"<\/a><\/h4>\n

It will be quite a festive event with local media in attendance including KCRA, The Sacramento Bee, K-LOVE, and 107.9 The End. Various local partners and organizations, including California Family Fitness, Blue Star Moms, Yolo County Library, and more will be handing out treats and other goodies. The Yolo Basin Foundation is bringing live Mexican Free Tailed bats. Additional pre-movie activities include a costume contest, corn hole, candy corn counting, Dinger coloring, and much more.<\/h4>\n

\"flick-or-treat-2015c\"<\/a>Flick-or-Treat <\/a>begins at 4:30 p.m.<\/strong> (first come first serve) with the movie starting at 6 p.m<\/strong>. Cost is $6 for kids and $8 for adults. But the best value is to buy still available Dinger\u2019s Drive In<\/a> season passes for $10 a person. That will then also give you access for the last movie in the series on Saturday, October 29, the Disney Pixar classic Finding Nemo<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n

To add a feel good element to the evening, new this year at Flick Or Treat<\/a> is Dinger’s Goods Drive.<\/a> Starting Saturday, October 15th Dinger will be collecting household goods, canned and dry goods, baby supplies, and new and gently used clothing to give back to those in need. Those who donate will receive a discount coupon to be used at the River Cats On Deck Shop at Raley Field. The drive begins at Flick Or Treat and will last through Friday, November 4.<\/h4>\n
