Momma Be Watchin&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Momservation: <\/strong>The Golden Rule: Don\u2019t do it if you wouldn\u2019t do it with Momma standing right there.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u263a\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u263a\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u263a<\/p>\n<p>My daughter told me the most beautiful words that made my heart sing the other day.<\/p>\n<p>No, it wasn\u2019t \u201cI love you.\u201d (Touching, but expected.)<\/p>\n<p>No, it wasn\u2019t \u201cI cleaned my room without you asking.\u201d (Blow me over with a feather, but not monumental.)<\/p>\n<p>No, it wasn\u2019t \u201cI appreciate all you do for me.\u201d (We throw parades for that one.)<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what brought a little tear to my eye that I must be doing something right:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery time me and (best friend) see something totally funny but totally inappropriate that we want to retweet, we end up not doing it because we\u2019re like \u2018Can\u2019t. Mom\u2019s on Twitter and she\u2019ll totally see it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>See? I\u2019m getting all choked up again! Totally spiritual moment. The Heavens opened and shined a light upon her and the harps of a thousand angels strummed.<\/p>\n<p>She gets it! She gets the Golden Rule: Don\u2019t do it if you wouldn\u2019t do it with Momma standing right there.<\/p>\n<p>Or at least virtual Momma in the form of a Twitter account that follows you and makes you follow them back.<\/p>\n<p>You know all those kids who are Tweeting and Retweeting totally inappropriate, cringe worthy content?<\/p>\n<p>No Mommas on Twitter or checking Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the equivalent of letting your kid run across the street during rush hour without looking.
