{"id":11614,"date":"2012-01-17T16:17:21","date_gmt":"2012-01-18T00:17:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/momservations.wordpress.com\/?p=11614"},"modified":"2012-01-17T16:17:21","modified_gmt":"2012-01-18T00:17:21","slug":"what-its-all-about","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/momservations.com\/index.php\/2012\/01\/17\/what-its-all-about\/","title":{"rendered":"What It&#8217;s All About"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Momservation: <\/strong>Listening to the constant bickering between my kids makes me regret all the time I spent teaching them how to talk.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\u263a\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u263a\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u263a<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_11616\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11616\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/momservations.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/01\/iphone-pics-027.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-11616\" title=\"iphone pics 027\" src=\"http:\/\/momservations.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/01\/iphone-pics-027.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-11616\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A momentary truce before the bickering continues<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about the remote then it\u2019s about what to watch.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about whose turn it is to set the table, then it\u2019s about whose turn it is to clear it.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about who has to get into the shower first, then it\u2019s about who took too long.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about downloaded aps then it\u2019s about downloaded songs.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about who gets to sit here, then it\u2019s about who gets to sit there.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about who walked the dog last, then it\u2019s about who picks up the poop.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about knock it off, then it\u2019s about who started it.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about that\u2019s mine, then it\u2019s about not yours.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about who got more, then it\u2019s about who got less.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about who rides in the front seat, then it\u2019s about who chooses the radio station.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about stay out of my room, then it\u2019s about stay out of my stuff.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about he got to pick last time, then it\u2019s about she got to pick last time.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about that\u2019s not fair, then it\u2019s about you\u2019re being mean.<\/p>\n<p>If it&#8217;s not about who&#8217;s first, then it&#8217;s about who&#8217;s next.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about why can\u2019t I, then it\u2019s about how come you get to?<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about don\u2019t touch me, then it\u2019s about don\u2019t look at me.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about give that back, then it\u2019s about who took it.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about he won\u2019t let me play, then it\u2019s about she always has to be included.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about who was sitting there first, then it\u2019s about who got up.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not about he won\u2019t leave me alone, then it\u2019s about she won\u2019t quit bugging me.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s about don\u2019t do that, then it\u2019s about stop it.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s about who did it on purpose, then it\u2019s about it was just an accident.<\/p>\n<p>\u2026And I\u2019m just scratching the surface of all the things siblings bicker about. These are just the ones I came up with listening to my kids for the last five minutes.<\/p>\n<p>While you think of your own kids\u2019 versions of what it\u2019s all about to add to the list, I will leave you with my current impersonation of my children:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReally Whitney?
